A shelf full of records by James Taylor, Jackson Browne and Paul Simon has given Melbourne singer-songwriter Grand Baxter a distinct flavour of 70's middle America. In this version of his show he pays tribute to all the artists that inspire his original music - from soul to country, from Nashville to Denver. Hear the hits of the 70's and 80's intimate and undisguised, showing off the real brilliance of the songs themselves.
Grand Baxter was formed as a project to exhibit the vulnerable story-driven songs of singer-songwriter Ben Langdon. These songs morphed with a heavy folk-country influence to create the sound that characterises their 2018 EP, best described as 'a bold hamper of truth, musicality and Americana charm.'
Grand Baxter is available for venue shows and events for up to 3 hours, including covers of well known songs and original music.
