Benjamin Langdon is a folk singer-songwriter based in Belgrave, Victoria, best known for his emotive, vulnerable songwriting and gentle acoustic sound. As the frontman of the alt-folkers Grand Baxter and jazz-folk outfit The Bean Project, Langdon has garnered attention for his distinctive voice, poignant lyrics and unique songwriting, often blending deep introspection, acute observation, and the beauty of the Australian landscape.
Heavily inspired by James Taylor and Jason Isbell, as well as more modern rock, folk, jazz and electronica influences, Langdon’s new solo project, under his own name, offers an opportunity to share songwriting and recordings that don’t fit under any other projects, bringing together eclectic influences from across the genre spectrum.
